As the days grow colder and the light starts to dwindle, many of us hang our helmets and bicycles for the winter. This seasonal action is truly felt by bicycle shops far and wide. At some point in winter many bicycle shops have to question if they can afford to be open in the winter or even at all. "How are we going to make it this winter?"

Winter is the perfect time to get your bike ready for the first bike-able day of Spring when the weather really starts to change. Why wait 'til the last minute?
Purchase gift certificates for loved ones as gifts. It's kind of like a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) model, but for your fave bike shop.
If they have a Patreon, consider supporting them through that route.
Tell your friends how much you love your local bike shop and what makes them so great.
Leave a 5-star Google review. This is really helpful to small businesses.
Bring your fave shop workers something warm to eat or drink ;)
